Find out about the fun things your child will learn from our field trips. We take the children on a variety of learning trips throughout the year, each one reflecting the preschool’s weekly themes. Some of our adventures include Living History Farms for farm week and Blank Park Zoo during animal week.
A sign-up sheet is required for each trip, and prior notice will be given to parents for the cost of each trip. Center vehicles are used for all field trip outings.
Why limit the growth of your child to the classroom? We bring the opportunities outside with us! Active play time is a great way to get the children moving and socializing. With favorable weather, we take the children outside to play up to three times a day. We also make regular walks to the park. And in the summertime, children 3 years and older can water play under the supervision of our attentive staff.
We love to celebrate at Traditions! Whether a holiday or your child’s birthday, we will celebrate accordingly. Children may bring treats for parties but are not required to. We will also continue to monitor allergy risks when treats are shared with the class.
We encourage our preschool-aged children and younger to lay down for rest time during our full days of learning and activities. Our teachers work hard to make sure your child is comfortable. The children are allowed to bring a pillow, blanket, personal toy, or stuffed animal as they please. It’s no fun to forget a favorite toy at school, so we ask that you please remind your child to gather his/her personal belongings before leaving at the end of the day.
