Our Management Team is made up of individuals primarily raised and educated in Iowa. We have graduates from Iowa State University, Drake University, University of Northern Iowa, Buena Vista, Upper Iowa University and DMACC. Together we have more than 185 years of experience with Traditions.
My name is Bonnie Netteland. After raising three children and graduating from Drake University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, I opened Clive Children’s Center in 1985. After more than 30 years in the child care business, I still find it very enjoyable and very rewarding. Knowing so many wonderful children and their families has left one with a true sense of joy.
My name is Kristen Netteland. I lead Traditions Children’s Centers and Clive Children’s Centers. I am a Des Moines native, graduating from Valley High School, Iowa State University and Drake Law School. I started my career in high school when we opened our first center. Today we care for over 1,200 children daily.
Our child care team is committed to quality care, high standards, ongoing learning, continual improvement, and leading through influence. We believe that children matter.
My name is Jaci Yaukovitz. I am the director at Traditions Children’s Center II. I’m a graduate of Iowa State University and a mom of three great kids. I came to work for Traditions when my first child was in the baby room and loved being here at TCC with my own kids during their preschool years. That was over 20 years ago now and I still love seeing all my “Traditions” kids grow & learn from infancy through elementary age.
My name is Meghan Holland. I am the Director at Traditions Children’s Center. This is my 18th year in child care and with Traditions Children’s Center, as I actually started working with Traditions when I was just 16 years old! I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from DMACC and I enjoy children of all ages! I believe that every child should have access to quality child care, regardless of race, gender, economic status, or any other factors that may come up in a family’s life.
When I am not working with your children, I am spending time with my 4 year old daughter, Paisley, going bicycling with friends, shopping, and spending quality time with my family.
My name is Stephanie Brandt. I am the Director of Traditions Children’s Center III. This is my 17th year in child care with Traditions. I have a Early Childhood diploma and I am finishing my Associates Degree in Early Childhood from DMACC.
My name is Nicole Zahn. I am the Director of Traditions Children’s Center IV in Clive. I am a mom to 15-year-old twins, Max and Carter. They are the loves of my life. I have been with Traditions Children’s Center for 17 years at multiple locations. I have an Elementary Education Degree from Buena Vista. I have always loved working with children.
My name is Stephanie, and I am the Director at our Johnston location. I grew up in Northwest Iowa and attended Simpson College. While at Simpson, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I began working at Traditions in 2009 as an Assistant Director and Preschool Teacher. I enjoy getting to know all of the children and families at our center and watching each child grow and learn.
My name is Carissa Barajas and I am the director of Traditions Children’s Center V -200. I have worked for the company for 14 years starting as an Assistant Teacher, Preschool Teacher and moving my way to a Director. I have an Early Childhood Degree from DMACC. I enjoy working with children in all setting. I am married and have three children.
My name is Cambria Crouse and I am the director of Traditions Children’s Center VI. I am a wife and a mother. I have my Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Child and Family Studies from Northwest Missouri State University. I have spent many years working in the childcare profession as it is a huge passion of mine! I absolutely love working with and teaching children! I treat each one as if they were my own, and enjoy making a positive impact on their life.
